Hi, while I’m still learning how to create a fully functioning blog, I’d like to introduce myself in a post.  I live in the American heartland, in a little town called Cape Girardeau.  The town lies by the Mississipi river and has the dubious distinction of being Rush Limbaugh’s hometown.  But that’s not why I’m here.  I decided to start this blog to share my love of quilting and all things arts and crafts with others.  I’ve loved doing creative things all my life and it seems that now that I am entering midlife, doing creative things is all I want to do.  As far as I can tell at this point this site will be mostly devoted to all things fabric and things you can create with it.   I hope to soon share pictures, ideas and tutorials on this blog and hope to find some like minded creative souls.  Have a great day, sincerely yours, Heartlandquilter
